Five reasons to visit the Gulf
Spotorno, in the middle of the Gulf island overlooks an unpollutted sea and offers a series of all year long. The beach, the gardens, the squares, the civic centre of Monte and the Bishop's Castle; but also a range of prestigious hotels and beach clubs with great appeal, as well as a large commercial offer full of opportunities. And a long tradition of international tourist reception.
The Island of Bergeggi, heart of the Marine Protected Area, defined by the Romans "antica insula liguriae" is a small cone of limestone covered with Mediterranean vegetation, which is only 250 meters from the coast. On the island are the remains of a massive circular tower from Roman times, probably a lighthouse or a signaling outpost of the harbor of "Vado Sabatia".
